Upcoming Maintenance Notice

The EPBC Act Business and Public Portals will be offline for maintenance from 6 pm AEST Wednesday 9 September 2026 to 7 pm AEST Wednesday 9 September 2026 and 6 pm AEST Thursday 10 September 2026 to 8 am AEST Friday 11 September 2026.

Invoicing and payments now available

The National EPA commenced on 1 July 2026. Invoicing and payment services are now available, and proponents can now make payments for EPBC projects.

 

Please note: We are currently investigating a known issue affecting the automatic generation of payment receipts. Payments can still be made as normal, however, there may be a short delay in receipts being issued. We appreciate your patience and understanding while this issue is being resolved.

The EPBC Public Portal is best viewed through a desktop, laptop or tablet.  If you wish to make a comment using a mobile device go to Open for Comments.

Please note, only one document can be uploaded per submission. The size limit of the file must not exceed 10MB.

The agency is currently completing updates to projects and information that displays on this Portal. Over the next week you may see project status fields update for some projects. Please contact your agency point of contact should you need any assistance.
